September 21, 2010, Man I wish I could be like some of the students and skip critiques. Truth of the matter is we need critique to exceed and excel.
I walked into the classroom and felt like crap, I was nervous because I strongly dislike failure. I don't like it what I have to hear what other people say about my photos, it makes me unease. It is hard to get the fact that critiques are suppose to help and not to judge.
It was funny how he can tell which one I worked on the hardest and what I enjoyed. It is just hard to find the enjoyment when it is assigned. I was still kind of nervous, but Vaughn gave me good advices.
He told me to do more stuff for my enjoyment and not to be unhappy of what I am doing.
I like critique actually, I just made it seem worse than it is.
